Professional development includes communication skills, leadership, ability to work in a team, experiences, and workplace readiness. Employers expect that you will bring knowledge and the ability to engage, communicate, and lead.

Academic achievement is measured by GPA, professional development is measured by professional achievement (PRO) points. The key elements of PRO are:

Professional Development (PRO) points
Earn PRO points for professional development activities (e.g., attending events, competitions, internship).

Portfolio
A personalized web portfolio that showcases your professional development.

Get started
Create a profile and portfolio to earn your first PRO points!
(a portfolio is required to start earning PRO points)

To gain inspiration learn how Josie Smith, new freshman, or Mary Jones, a transfer student, achieved the highest level of professional development.
